England: Coast to Coast for Mental Health

Welcome to my Coast to Coast hike across England!  Join me as share my experiences and the beauty of nature as I trek 200 miles across this iconic trail.

I'm a clinical social worker both in private practice and in Spotsylvania County Public Schools, and I've seen an increase in mental health needs and the difficulties that families have in accessing services.  Lack of resources impacts the mental health of not only the patient but of their families and the professionals that care for them. 

So, I'm hiking to make a difference for mental health.  Each mile supports Mental Health America - Fredericksburg Region, a great organization that provides critical services in our community.
